Clara & Fritz: Elevated Wellness Packaging

by Michele Molina December 12, 2025

When you step into the world of Clara & Fritz Tallow Shop, you’re met with products that feel timeless, intentional, and infused with care. Based in Mullica Hill, New Jersey, this family-owned skincare brand has been thoughtfully growing since its founding in 2021. Today, we’re excited to spotlight their beautiful new packaging—created in partnership with The Paper Tube Co.—and the creative force behind the brand’s visual direction: Lindsey Love, designer, photographer, and brand visionary.

From Retail Buyer to Brand Creative

Lindsey’s path into the skincare world is anything but ordinary. She began her career as a retail buyer for Urban Outfitters and later joined Anthropologie as a brand stylist. Her transition into the world of wellness and skincare happened almost serendipitously. While working at a local marketing agency, she met Adam and Nicole—the founders of Clara & Fritz. When the growing company needed to expand their team, Lindsey was the perfect fit.

“It’s been so rewarding to utilize my retail buying and styling skills for a growing, family-owned skincare business,” she shares.

The Story Behind Clara & Fritz

Clara & Fritz was born from Nicole’s personal wellness journey. After struggling with chronic fatigue and discomfort, she began removing toxins from her daily routine—discovering the transformative benefits of tallow in the process. When she couldn’t find affordable tallow skincare that aligned with her values, she began crafting her own. Friends and family quickly noticed the difference, and soon enough, demand started to grow. A business bloomed from honesty, curiosity, and care.

Educating a Growing Market

Like many emerging brands pioneering traditional ingredients, Clara & Fritz faced early challenges—notably, educating customers about tallow. What once was a niche ingredient has quickly become a buzzword across multiple categories, from skincare to food. As interest surged, so did the need for thoughtful, approachable brand storytelling.

A Unique Approach to Skincare

What truly sets Clara & Fritz apart is their philosophy: they consider themselves in the hospitality business just as much as skincare.

“We put the customer at the center of everything we do,” Lindsey explains. “We want every interaction—from our website to customer service to the product on your vanity—to elevate and simplify your everyday.”

Their products are luxurious yet accessible, with an aesthetic grounded in beauty and comfort.

Designing Packaging That Elevates the Everyday

When it came time to design packaging for their new facial serums, body soap bar, and lip balm gift sets, Lindsey knew the packaging needed to reflect the brand’s identity: romantic, refined, and rooted in simplicity.

The inspiration?
“French antiquity and the charming, romantic world of Jane Austen’s English countryside.”

Muted tones of soft pinks, blues, and ivories—evocative of a faded French flag—became the backbone of the visual palette. Floral elements were non-negotiable. And a subtle touch of foil stamping added the perfect amount of luxury to the final design.

Why They Chose Paper Tube Co.

Before choosing The Paper Tube Co., Lindsey and the team explored several options—direct printing on glass, other box manufacturers, and more. Ultimately, the decision came down to trust and efficiency.

“Paper Tube Co. offered a seamless, one-stop shop for everything we needed from tubes to boxes. I was particularly impressed with the level of internal coordination and communication from project kickoff to design sign-off and even shipping and logistics.”

Looking Ahead

Clara & Fritz is only just beginning. With countless product ideas in the pipeline focusing on toxin reduction and lifestyle enhancement, the brand is gearing up for exciting expansion—including beyond skincare. They’ve also recently opened a charming shop in a historic building in Mullica Hill, where they plan to continue growing their in-store offerings.

As for Lindsey?
She proudly says she’ll be with Clara & Fritz for life—but if she ever explored another path, she imagines consulting for small businesses and helping other entrepreneurs shape their brands.

A Lasting Partnership

“We look forward to more projects with Paper Tube Co. in the future,” Lindsey shares. Their experience with the team has been collaborative, smooth, and creatively fulfilling—exactly what we aim for with every partner.
