Lux + Table: Elevating Gatherings Through Thoughtful Design

by Michele Molina May 21, 2026

For Lux + Table, meaningful gatherings are often shaped by the smallest details. Founded by Laura and Tim Moog, the brand brings a fresh perspective to table styling through customizable napkin rings designed to make celebrations feel more personal, intentional, and memorable.

Based in Kutztown, the company was built around a simple but creative idea: table décor should be adaptable, reusable, and designed to evolve with every occasion.

At the center of that vision is Napking — an interchangeable napkin ring system created for homes, weddings, hospitality spaces, and events alike.

Turning Creativity Into Connection

The inspiration behind the business came from a lifelong appreciation for creativity and hosting.

Before launching Lux + Table, Laura spent years working as a teacher, constantly surrounded by paper scraps, art projects, and hands-on creativity. That experience shaped the way she approached design — finding beauty and purpose in simple materials and reimagining everyday objects in unexpected ways.

Over time, that mindset evolved into something larger.

Traditional table details often felt static and disposable, especially within the wedding and event industry. Lux + Table set out to create something different: a reusable system that allows customers to swap inserts, personalize settings, and refresh their tablescape without replacing the entire product.

The result is a product that feels both elevated and practical — helping people create memorable experiences while reducing unnecessary waste.

Standing Out in a Crowded Industry

The wedding and entertaining space is filled with endless décor options, making differentiation one of the company’s biggest challenges.

For Lux + Table, the key has been helping customers understand the emotional impact of thoughtful design. While napkin rings may seem like a small detail, they can completely transform the atmosphere of a table and make guests feel considered and celebrated.

That balance of personalization, reusability, and elevated design is what sets the brand apart.

Rather than creating one-time-use décor, Lux + Table developed a product that adapts across seasons, holidays, weddings, and events — offering customers flexibility without sacrificing aesthetics.

Packaging That Reflects the Brand

When it came time to choose packaging, the team wanted something that aligned naturally with the story behind the product itself.

Paper tube packaging immediately stood out as the right fit.

Not only did it provide durability and protection, but it also created a premium unboxing experience that felt more intentional than traditional retail packaging. The tactile feel, smooth opening experience, and reusable structure helped reinforce the luxurious yet thoughtful identity Lux + Table wanted customers to associate with the brand.

The packaging also reflects the company’s commitment to creativity and sustainability — values deeply connected to the origins of Napking itself.

Visually, the branding carries an equally meaningful story. The Lux + Table logo combines the letters “L” and “T” for Laura and Tim while subtly forming the shape of a chair and table — symbolizing gathering, connection, and shared moments around the table.

It’s a design language rooted in both elegance and purpose.

Building for the Future

Although the company officially launched in 2025, Lux + Table already has its sights set on expansion.

The team hopes to continue growing its product offerings while maintaining the originality and uniqueness that define the brand today. Whether through new interchangeable designs, expanded collections, or future collaborations, the focus remains on creating products that help people celebrate life’s moments in a more intentional way.

At its core, Lux + Table isn’t just about table décor — it’s about creating experiences that bring people together.

Because sometimes the details people remember most are the ones that made them feel welcomed.

A Packaging Partnership

To bring their vision to life, Lux + Table partnered with The Paper Tube Co. to create packaging that matched both the quality of the product and the story behind the brand.

After exploring other packaging options, including plastic boxes, the team ultimately chose paper tubes for their elevated appearance, customization capabilities, and overall quality. The final result delivers a packaging experience that feels luxurious from the very first touch while remaining durable and reusable long after the product is opened.

Throughout the process, the Lux + Table team worked closely with April, Sheri, and The Paper Tube Co. team to transform their ideas into reality — creating packaging that doesn’t just protect the product, but enhances the entire experience surrounding it.
